Teens Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Friends of the Saratoga Libraries.  As an organization, we do not accept individual teen volunteers.  The Saratoga Library, however, does accept teen volunteers who are 14 or older.  Teen volunteer opportunities at the Saratoga Library are long-term in nature, since it takes some time for the library to train volunteers.  There are four teen volunteer sessions at the Saratoga Library: June-August;September-November;December-February; and March-May.  Volunteers need to commit to two scheduled volunteer hours per week for the three-month session.  If you are interested, please contact Birgit Spring, the teem librarian at the Saratoga Library.  Her email address is  She will add you to her teen volunteer list and contact you by email with open positions.  You can apply by replying to that email.

The Friends does not sell, or make available externally, its membership list. Friends is a 501 (c)(3) organization EIN 94-2831256. Your membership and donations are tax deductible as allowable by law. Donations made after July 1 are included in the following membership year.
