The Saratoga Library is one of the top ranked libraries in the United States and is a part of the Santa Clara County Library system.

Their core purpose is to enable unbiased, informed and free access to information, entertainment and ideas. They are committed to:

  • equal and open access

  • reading, life-long learning, and cultural enrichment

  • a safe and welcoming environment


Your membership in the Friends helps to fund programs for children, teens and adults as well as enrich the book and audio collections as well as items that contribute to the safe and welcoming environment.


Membership Levels are:


  • Senior Membership ($20 per person per year)

  • Individual Membership ($25 per person per year)

  • Family/Household Membership ($50 per family per year)

  • Patron Membership ($100 per year)

  • Sustaining Membership ($250 per year)

  • Benefactor Membership ($500 per year)

The Friends does not sell, or make available externally, its membership list. Friends is a 501 (c)(3) organization EIN 94-2831256. Your membership and donations are tax deductible as allowable by law. Donations made after July 1 are included in the following membership year.
